Elven workshop Game Environment

Another of the creations I did during the advanced master about "Prop and Environment Modelling and Texturing for AAA videogames". In this case aswell, I went for a stylized look, using the design by Benoit Bernard: https://www.artstation.com/ginsan . I really loved the WoW style which made me decide for his design when searching for possible references.

Everything is 3D modelled using 3DsMax, Maya and Zbrush, whereas the texturing is done using some materials from the UE5 library and creating my own materials.

The animation of the the floating assets where achieved through Unreal Engine Blueprints and the flames using the Niagara System.

For this project I tried to using the minimum amount of materials and textures possible while following the artist style and color palette. I was testing with the optimization and wanted to check how far I could go by using just a couple of textures, trims and material instances.

In the end I am pretty happy with the final result and I will be working on doing many more environments like this while improving what I have learnt.
